Created as part of a collaboration between Pokémon Center and the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam, Van Gogh's unique vision is combined with Pokémon imagination in this collection. Vincent van Gogh's Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat, 1887 is the inspiration for this piece.

The original artwork is the property of the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam (Vincent van Gogh Foundation). To celebrate the 170th anniversary of Vincent van Gogh's birth and the 50th anniversary of the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam, The Pokémon Company International and the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam have collaborated to reimagine the artist's paintings.
