Painted by Peter on the reverse of a print by Leicester-born New York print-maker Peter Gee, Peter Doherty completed this most well-known and accomplished blood-painting in Whitechapel in 2005 using his thumb and a plastic syringe... Mint condition 18" x 18" on heavyweight paper screen printed in Berlin "in for a penny in for a pound" shows Peter onstage at the Hackney Empire Theatre and is from a limited edition of 270 plus four proofs.

Numbered on the reverse 111/270 plus stamp of the Berlin atelier where the edition were produced in 2007. This print was signed in black Sharpie by Peter Doherty in October 2015.

The photograph shows Peter with France-Lombard Bèche with Geraldine Beigbeder and a friend at the Lombard gallery exhibition "Flags of the Old Regime".
