Banksy Napalm (Unsigned) (2004) Edition 409/500 With Full Pest Control COA

  

"Napalm" is one of Banksy's most iconic pieces. This was a limited release print and we have here number 409 of 500. The medium is that of a three colour screen print on untreated cartridge paper. The print is 50cm x 70cm, it is numbered by the artist and was originally released in 2004. We have owned it for around 10 years, but it's time to move on and let someone else enjoy it!

It has never actually been hanged on our wall, so there is no UV damage or anything of that nature, though, it has previously been loosely framed (no tape, glue etc). It is presented in a 3, natural, acid-free, conservation-grade mount. Secured with acid-free, conservation-grade tape and wrapped in acid-free, conservation-grade cellophane. The print itself is in very good condition, though, there is a slight'wave' present.

Having sought expert advice, we have been informed that this is quite usual and is due to varying humidity/moisture levels in the air. Art work is designed to be hanged loosely (like a curtain) in order to allow it to move and change over time. We have the full Pest Control Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for the piece, pictured here with a'do not copy' watermark to prevent unlawful duplication.
