25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy. This original, vintage lithograph by Andy Warhol of a cat from 1954 comes directly from the artists estate. Before becoming an internationally famous artist and cultural icon, Andy Warhol was a highly successful commercial illustrator for a variety of clients including Columbia Records, Glamour magazine, Harpers Bazaar, NBC, Tiffany & Co. Early in his career in New York City, Warhol lived with his mother and collaborated with her on several self-published books, including one entitled 25 Cats Name[d] Sam and One Blue Pussy.
