Vintage Norman Rockwell Hand Signed Collection Lithograph, Book & Letter; Vintage, Artist Signed Horse Print on Board and horse carving. From the Estate of Artist and Horse Racing enthusiast, Donn Rodman Hettel.

An American Late 20th Century Artist from Palmyra, NJ. Donn was a NJ artist who followed his true passion as a career artist and opened The Gaslight Gallery in Runnemede in 1971.

In 1974 he opened his second gallery, The Laughing Horse Studio in Evesham Township. He specialized in watercolors, hand carved wood sculptures, oil painting, and stained glass design and fabrication.

In 1979 Donn closed both studios to pursue freelance design. As an avid horse race enthusiast, he was also commissioned to do artwork from races at the Garden State Parkway. He often worked and traded with other artists. In this instance, he received a response from Norman Rockwell to a previous letter, dated 1974.

As a result, he obtained a signature on the included print, "Weighing In". Later that same year, he attended a book signing, acquiring yet another Rockwell signed piece. Interesting grouping for the collector. Donn Rodman Hettel Horse Print on Board, signed.
