The Petis Courrier des Dames magazine was a successful Parisian publication largely devoted to dress for women. It's plates were imported for Townsend's Monthly Selection of Parisian Costumes, making them the first french plates to be found in Britain, and for The Queen in the 1860s. Both prints have been trimmed and are in a gilded press moulded wooden frame with a glass pane, ready for hanging. Print dimensions: 22.5 x 17.25 cm.
