Keith Haring Original Subway Metro Sign Bronx East Radiant Baby 1980s

  
A fantastic original Keith Haring US metro sign from Bronx Park East. Dating from the early to mid 1980s, it is decorated with the iconic radiant baby and heart, and with a dancing figure at the bottom.

Measuring approx 30 x 10cm, it is heavy gauge steel, and shows evidence on the back of the bolts that fixed it in place. Two of these have been removed and the other two bent over. Some evidence of its age including dirt, chips and paint splatters, but all add to the overall piece.

A wonderful example of Harings work and featuring some of his best known characters, this would look fantastic framed and would complement any collection.
