HANDS DOWN ONE OF BANKSYS MOST SOUGHT AFTER PRINTS, THESE RARELY COME ON THE SECONDARY MARKET AND SELL QUICKLY - A GREAT INVESTMENT THAT WILL ONLY APPRECIATE IN VALUE. Recently removed from its frame (which was done to a very high standard by a professional using the best materials), the print still has 2 small tabs of archival tape on the reverse, however Ive left these in case you want to frame it as well. Alternatively they will easily be removed as they use water soluble glue for exactly this reason. There is a very very light shadow left by the original mount, as it spent 10 years in a frame. However, as shown in the photos, it is very slight. Signed By the artist - Banksy. Originally created as a stencilled piece of graffiti in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina of 2005. Following the hurricane, the levees that were supposed to protect the city from flooding broke and thousands of homes and lives were lost. The work shows a girl - Nola (New Orleans LA) sheltering under an umbrella thats supposed to protect from the rain, but its the umbrella thats creating the rain and soaking her through. This popular image was then released as a screenprint through Pictures On Walls in 2008. This print comes with full provenance, and fully authenticated by Pest Control.
